The mesh is perfectly sized to let through the optimum flow of ale whilst still being fine enough to ensure that only liquids pass through. By using a rubber of medium density, the strainer will act as a gasket between the tap and tap nut, preventing any leaks or drips. This hop strainer will fit 3/4" BSP taps.
