Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion is a PC extension to the acclaimed Kerbal Space Program simulation game in which the player manages all aspects of the space program: from designing rockets, shuttles and landers, to piloting them to a specific destination. In KSP: MHE, Squad has introduced new parts and devices for use in space flights, the Mission Builder interface that allows you to create scenarios for yourself or other players, and the History Pack - a set of ready-made missions, inspired by authentic moments from the history of space conquest.
Thanks to the new Mission Builder system, players can create various fictionalized scenarios, such as emergency landings or rescue missions. The scenario creator can set victory conditions, plan events and plot twists, and add obstacles such as limited fuel or time limits. Designed missions can be shared with community members. The second important part of the supplement is the so-called History Pack - a set of ready-made missions that we can start playing right away. When designing the scenarios it contains, the creators were inspired by real events from the history of the conquest of space. As we complete our mission, the new scoring system summarizes our accomplishments. The game also features new space suits for Kerbala and new parts to be installed in our vehicles. This equipment was inspired by the famous space race between the US and the USSR. One of the most important devices that was added to the Kerbal Space Program on the occasion of the expansion's premiere is a personal parachute for Kerbal astronauts.
