Granit Victory Xplus 68 SRA Roll-Up ABUS s’applique, depuis plus de 80 ans, à compliquer les vols de moto et nous nous en réjouissons. Avec sa forme définitivement très différente du reste de la famille, le bloque-disque roll-up Granit Victory Xplus 68 en est un merveilleux exemple. Cette version SRA répond aux exigences et aux critères de la plupart des assurances en Europe. >L’agrément français SRA est l’équivalent de la marque néerlandaise ART. Cette dernière a octroyé au bloque-disque roll-up Granit Victory Xplus 68, quatre étoiles, qui représente le score le plus élevé. À raison, car le bloque-disque Granit Victory Xplus, en forme de cône, peut se vanter d’obtenir un niveau de sécurité 16. Également la catégorie la plus élevée.Deux clés – l’une équipée d’une lampe Led – sont fournies d’origine. Vous avez évidemment toujours besoin d’une clé, tant pour ouvrir que pour fermer le cadenas. Le pêne de fermeture ne s’encliquette pas automatiquement. Là où la plupart des bloque-disques présentent une forme d’étrier et se posent sur le disque de frein, le Granit Victory Xplus présente une forme de cône ou de champignon qui pousse sur le disque. Le pêne de fermeture de 16 mm d’épaisseur se glisse simplement à l’ouverture. Sa forme arrondie et sa bague extérieure rotative compliquent la tâche de celui qui s’y attaquerait avec des outils ou souhaiterait ouvrir la chose. Cette version ‘roll-up’ possède un câble de mémoire intégré dans le boîtier qui évite d’oublier de le desserrer avant de repartir. Pêne de fermeture, boîtier et éléments internes du mécanisme de fermeture sont faits d’acier trempé. Ce cadenas peut être commandé comme une ‘serrure encastrée’, et implique que vous puissiez manipuler plusieurs serrures avec une seule clé. Le Code Card d’ABUS, fourni d’origine, permet de commander, rapidement et simplement, une clé supplémentaire ou une clé de remplacement. Les dimensions limitées du Granit Victory Xplus 68 permettent de le transporter aisément. Son poids de 720 grammes nous fait penser d’emblée à un endroit sous la selle. L’occasion fait le larron, et dans le cas présent, la tâche sera bien plus compliquée. Evidemment, rien n’est jamais sûr à 100%. Combiner plusieurs solutions donne toujours de meilleurs résultats que d’installer un seul cadenas, et, quand vous abandonnez votre moto un certain temps, il n’est guère superflu de l’attacher. Attention ! A cause de son pêne de fermeture de 16 mm, ce cadenas ne convient pas à tous les disques de freins. Conseil de RAD : Prenez l’habitude d’installer votre bloque-disque toujours sur le disque de frein de la roue avant. C’est là que le voleur potentiel regarde (un cadenas a toujours un effet dissuasif) et c’est là aussi que vous le remarquerez vous-même. Vous ne seriez pas le premier à partir, en vitesse, avec un disque de frein froissé ou un garde-boue en morceaux.

And yes, the X.27 Tourer is only one modular motorcycle helmet from the X.27 family. The family tree from the X.27 Tourer goes all the way back to the X.20 and X.21, preceded by the X.16 Voyager; hence, this is not GIVI’s first rodeo. In this touring-oriented version, the result is a decent total solution with a double helmet shell in thermoplastic. These two helmet shells contain all helmet sizes, warranting that the weight of this modular helmet stays well around 1,690 grams; which isn’t light as a feather but it’s a pretty decent result for a motorcycle helmet with almost everything on board. The double P/J homologation means that you get to ride it when it’s in the flipped-up position as well. One condition is that the GIVI X.27 Tourer can be locked into that open position, which you can do by using the red slider right below the left hinge. Don’t confuse it with the slider in the other direction a little lower that flips the sun visor up and down. To complete the picture, we’ll also mention the quick release loops to the left and right to detach or replace the transparent visor. Without tools and far less complicated than we can ever describe it. It all points itself out. By the way, you operate the chin guard by using the central locking in the front.
