Agapanthus Blue Storm (African Lilly) Blue Storm is a relatively new and free flowering variety of Agapanthus (also known as African Lilly).  Agapanthus Blue Storm is an evergreen perennial that will produce fantastic blooms from July through until August, with its soft violet blue flowers on long elegant stalks. This stunning African Lilly was bred from the high altitude regions of South Africa where temperatures can go as low as minus 15 degrees.  Agapanthus Blue Storm is a great plant for pots and containers as well as mixed borders. It loves full sun and moist but well drained fertile soil. Agapanthus are hardy tough plants requiring little attention in spite of their high-maintenance good looks. Blue Storm will reach a maximum height of 0.7 to 1.2 metres.  What sets this variety of blue Agapanthus apart from the rest is its compact shape and the fact that it is very free flowering indeed, producing a truly dazzling display of blue flowers on 60 cm stems.
