It fits anything from the V5 and EXB editions as well as older models. The differential clearance area is wider for the larger differential hump found on the V5. Additionally, now included is a hinge pin retainer plate so no additional parts are necessary to run our front bumper.Our Front Bumper for the ARRMA Kraton 6S is structurally engineered to add much needed impact-absorption. It dramatically reduces transferred impact forces to the chassis. Furthermore, our two-piece design incorporates a 4mm thick skid plate with 1.5mm skid ribs. Each rib extends more than 1-1/2 (38mm) in front of the chassis and protects the front of that expensive aluminum chassis from skid and impact damage. We then bolt a huge, 3/8 x 1/2" x 6-3/4 (9.5mm x 12.7mm x 171.5mm) curved oval bumper on top to help protect the body.Each RPM Front Bumper and skid plate is molded in black from our exclusive blend of engineering grade nylons for unmatched strength and durability. All RPM molded products are 100% made in the USA.Tech Notes: The RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plate is designed specifically for the ARRMA Kraton V5 & EXB, yet will fit most ARRMA vehicles (V5 and older) running stock gearbox case set AR310854 or AR310427. It also fits most Durango vehicles running stock gearbox case set TD210046. Unfortunately, RPM cannot guarantee proper body clearance with any ARRMA / Durango vehicle not listed here. Some body trimming may be necessary to clear the bumper of vehicles not listed.

We made it a two-piece design to give the Slash 2wd owner the option of full front-end bash-proof and crash-proof protection with both the skid plate and bumper installed or if a racing profile is wanted, the front bumper can be removed and the skid plate by itself can be run as a light-weight alternative bumper / skid plate that shreds 27 grams (almost a full ounce) of weight from the front end of the truck. Once the race is over, reinstall the bumper and full bash protection is once again available!Our Traxxas Slash front bumper design completely eliminates the stock chassis-to-bumper support ring and the 5 screws holding the support ring in place. Additionally, the RPM version uses a thicker skid design (more than 60% thicker than the stock skid!) to supply the cushioning resistance a basher-proof bumper needs. Even though our thicker, more stout front bumper and skid plate is significantly stronger and more beefy than stock, it still falls in at a weight that is slightly less than the stock front bumper*. So even if the racer wants to run a full RPM front bumper and skid plate, they won?t have to worry about adding unwanted weight. To help improve overall durability, our skid rail design is wider than stock, which perfectly matches the design of our front and rear Slash skid plates.The RPM front bumper and skid plate for the Traxxas Slash is available in three color options: black on black, blue on blue or a chrome bumper on a gray skid plate. Our new rear bumper is designed to protect the rear of the chassis, the motor and the body, all while still allowing the use of a stock Traxxas Wheelie Bar (Traxxas 3678 ? not included). Additionally, if you decide to run without the Wheelie Bar, our rear bumper is so versatile, it?ll adapt and allow either configuration.Our rear bumper for the Stampede 2wd consists of a scale bumper that uses design elements from many of today?s top full-scale bumper manufacturers. We start with an upper tubular shape, followed by faux stamped sheet metal filleted holes, a scale license plate area and with a final touch of a pair of scale 3? square openings for 5mm LEDs. That?s right, our bumper allows you to install your favorite 5mm LEDs (not included) to be used as taillights, reverse lights or any other use you can imagine!The RPM bumper supports are designed tough, with serious impact absorption characteristics built in. With the use of an RPM Rear Bumper Mount (RPM 80902 or 80905 ? not included), the protection for the motor becomes nearly indestructible!Each RPM Rear Bumper is made in the USA from our engineering grade nylons and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty against breakage.Tech Notes: RPM Rear Bumpers for the Traxxas Stampede 2wd require a bumper mount (either a Traxxas 3677, RPM 80902 or RPM 80905 ? not included) or a Wheelie Bar (Traxxas 3678 ? not included) to install the RPM Rear Bumper. Some body trimming may be necessary to clear the bumper supports at lower body height settings. Tested and guaranteed to work with Traxxas 3617, 3617R & 3617X bodies with minimal trimming required. That causes a hinge effect under rear impacts causing the slotted area holding on to the rear skid plate to pop off after an impact, leaving the stock bumper / wheelie bar mount hanging under the chassis. The RPM solution? An all-new bumper mounting system that eliminates all of the problems encountered with the stock version.The RPM rear bumper / wheelie bar mount has two mounting holes on the gear cover side and three on the motor side ? that?s two additional mounting points to eliminate that annoying hinge effect mentioned above. The additional mounting screws help disperse impact energy into the transmission case over more surface area, reducing the possibility of damaging the case significantly! The new RPM mount design means no more slotted parts hanging below the rear skid plate ? ever!
