VELUX Electric Blinds Suitability VELUX electric blinds are only compatible with electrically operated windows (but not solar electric windows) as they are powered from the electrics of the window. Ensure your window is powered by mains electric to ensure this blind will work for you. If your window solar-electric or manually operated then this blind will not work and you need to purchase either a solar blind or a manual blind.
