Liquid Descaler 200ml
The Caffenu® Liquid Descaler was specifically developed to remove lime scale and calcium build-ups from your coffee machine's internal components. By descaling regularly, you maintain your coffee machine, ensure its hygiene, and improve the taste of your coffee. The Caffenu® Liquid Descaler is phosphate free, does not stain or taint, and is suitable for all coffee machines, kettles and urns.
All coffee machines suffer from lime scale and calcium build-up, like the white build-up you see in kettles. This can decrease your water and coffee temperature, iiwastes electricity and can cause blockage that damages your coffee machine. The Caffenu® Liquid Descaler is a fast-acting descaler specifically formulated to rapidly clean your coffee machine and other appliances. It removes deposits in a safe and effective way, and also contains a sanitising action that helps to ensure the hygiene of the machine´s internal components.
Instructions:
To descale your appliance consult your manufacturer's manual for descaling and rinsing procedures. Most machines have a descaling setting.
Coffee machines:
1) Empty half of the bottle (100 ml./single dose) into the water tank with 500 ml. of water to create the descaling solution.
2) Place large container under the spout and run approximately 200 ml. of the solution through the brew cycle into the container.
3) Run approximately 200 ml. of the solution through the steam wand, if fitted, into container.
4) Repeat step 2 & 3 until all of the solution is used up, allowing the machines to sit for 5 minutes in between each run.
5) Empty and rinse water tank.
6) Rinse the machine by running one full tank of clean water through the machine (step 2 & 3 with water only).
7) After descaling: Clean the appliance. Wipe surrounding surfaces with a damp cloth.
