AlcoDigital Standard Lab-in-a-Bag

AlcoDigital Standard Lab-in-a-Bag

Product Properties The ultimate portable, on-site testing system for drugs and alcohol. The Standard Lab-in-a-Bag combines the Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser, Dräger Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer and mobile printer to create a completely mobile test centre for both drugs and alcohol. Comprehensive drug and alcohol testing kit The Lab-in-a-Bag concept combines the Drager DrugTest 5000 Analyser with the Drager Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer and Mobile Printer to create a completely mobile test centre for both drugs and alcohol. The Drager Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer records the time and date of the alcohol breath test along with test results for up to 5000 tests, all of which can be downloaded to a PC with the included AlcoView Software and a USB cable. The Draeger mobile printer is included as standard to ensure a hard copy can be produced and certified on-site during testing. The Dräger Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer is Uk home office approved. The DrugTest 5000 has been Home Office Approved for use by the UK police force in the detection of THC (Cannabis). Both are made by Draeger, so accuracy and reliability are guaranteed – Draeger represents the very pinnacle of drug and alcohol testing and screening equipment for use in the workplace. Objective ResultsThe real difference with the lab-in-a-bag concept, when compared to other methods and products like DrugWipe, is the fact that the system is entirely objective. Results are displayed on the integrated screen, as well as hard-copy printouts from the mobile printer. The subjectivity of interpreting results (all of which requires experienced personnel to carry out) is removed and replaced with simple, factual and unambiguous result. In effect, the system removes any risk of human error. Laboratory ConfirmationThe Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser is highly accurate and rarely would the results be challenged. In the event of a result being disputed by an employee, a follow-up laboratory confirmation test can be carried out. Our pre-paid confirmation kit is ideal for this purpose; it comes complete with full chain-of-custody instructions and pre-paid laboratory testing envelope; just sample, seal and send. From just £39 for a kit containing a pair of duplicate testers it forms a very cost-effective means of obtaining laboratory-assured results. The second test is held in reserve and can be re-tested by a laboratory of the employee’s choice should they wish. Low Running CostsWith the exception of a bi-annual calibration and mouthpieces, there are no ongoing costs associated with the breathalyser. Mouthpieces are supplied individually sealed for hygiene purposes but one may be used many times over by the same individual. A box of 20 x Drager DrugTest 5000 Test Kit Cartridges (box of 20) costs £595 + VAT and comes with a shelf life of 12 months. We have test plans available for those performing more than 40 tests every 3 months. Depending on the quantity of test kits you require with a test plan, the cost of the test kits will be from as little as £20.50. We also deliver and invoice quarterly making sure you are not holding stock with a short shelf life. Please contact us for more details on our test plans.Images for illustration purposes only, actual product may differ.

Dräger Alcotest 7000 System Kit with printer and mouthpieces

Dräger Alcotest 7000 System Kit with printer and mouthpieces

The Dräger AlcoTest 7000 System kit includes handset, printer, mouthpieces and funnels – everything you require to be able to produce on the spot proof of test result. ✔ UK Home Office Approval in process ✔EU Police Approval (EN15964) ✔ NHTSA Evidential Approval This Dräger Alcotest 7000 system kit includes handset, bluetooth printer, 100 x standard mouthpieces and 10 x funnels. Key features Calibration – only one calibration required per year Two measurement methods in one device Wide temperature range Network-connected solutions – Draeger Add and Service Connect High alcohol-detection limits Only one calibration per year Typically alcohol testing devices have to be calibrated every six months. Thanks to its exceptional measurement stability, the Dräger Alcotest® 7000 only needs calibrating every 12 months. As a result, you only have to collect, send off and then re-issue your alcohol testers once a year. This saves time and, above all, money. Two measurement methods in one device Alongside the classic test using a mouthpiece, with the Alcotest 7000 you can also carry out tests using a funnel attachment. This enables you to complete a large number of alcohol tests in a very short span of time: time-saving, cost-effective and hygienic. The funnel-based test gives you an initial indication as to whether or not alcohol is present in the subject’s breath. If the answer is yes, you simply press a button to switch over to the mouthpiece-based test mode. The following test then shows you the actual level of alcohol in the subject’s breath. Wide temperature range With the Alcotest 7000 you can take reliable measurements even in extreme temperatures. The alcohol tester’s patented heating system and high-quality materials ensure dependable results in temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +55 °C. Network-connected solutions The built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy technology offers you energy-saving, digital connectivity for the device and its data. This has many advantages: For example, the wireless connection of the alcohol tester to the Dräger BT Mobile Printer enables you to print out test results from a distance of up to 15 meters. In addition, the software solution “Dräger add” facilitates a range of processes – e.g. the documentation of the measuring data on site. Dräger’s Service Connect software enables you to download measurement data and much more. You can also connect the Alcotest 7000 directly to a computer with a USB-C cable to read out just the test results. High alcohol-detection limits The increased performance capacity of the Alcotest 7000 also includes its measurement range. The maximum blood-alcohol limit that can be set with this alcohol testing device is as high as 3 mg/l. If this measurement range limit is exceeded, the display will tell you. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Measuring range: up to 3 mg/L Operating temperature: -10°C – 55°C Display: QVGA TFT colour display Connection port: USB-C Type of battery: Build in Lithium battery or 3xAA-LR6 / 3x NiMH Number of tests from full battery: 5000 breath test (lithium version) or 1500 breath tests (alkaline version) Protection class: IP54 Calibration interval: 12 months Start up time: 3 seconds Analyse time after test sample: 3 to 25 seconds Recovery time to be ready for next test: 20 to 120 seconds

This desktop device is an onsite digital testing system for the qualitative detection of amphetamines, designer amphetamines, cocaine metabolites, opiates and cannabinoids in oral fluid samples. As the first opto-electronic analyser available for portable and onsite use, it allows instanttest results to be obtained by company personnel, eliminating costly medically-supervised testing for routine screening. The collected saliva sample can be analysed immediately – for accurate results on the spot. Reliable drug screening The DrugTest 5000 system can detect the following up to eight substances / substance classes with predefined detection limits: Amphetamines Benzodiazepines Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC – cannabis) Cocaine Methamphetamines Opiates Methadone Ketamine Drug test with sampling and analysis all in one The system consists of the test kits; Dräger DrugTest 5000 Test Kit, and of the analyser; Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser. For every type of industry and application, the system provides you with everything you need for the first screening. You know, on the spot, if a person is influenced by drugs. Ready-to-use immediately with the test kit The Dräger DrugTest 5000 test kit provides you with a ready-to-use sampling system. You want to check a suspected person? Just remove the cover and hand the test cassette over to the person being tested and they then collect the sample themselves. Hygienic and painless saliva (oral fluid) sample collection The subject moves the top part of the collector briefly back and forth between their cheek and gums until the integrated indicator signals the end of the sampling by a blue discolouration. This usually takes less than one minute. The subject then returns the encapsulated cassette to you – thus ensuring no contact with the saliva sample. Easy and safe operation – even under adverse conditions The analyser is controlled with just three keys and is menu driven – simply follow the easy to understand instructions. Automatic analysis for fast results Detection of possible drug use begins immediately after collecting the saliva sample. Just slide the test cassette and the cartridge into the Analyser and the analysis will run automatically. The result will display after a few minutes. Clear results with no room for interpretation The measured result is displayed in plain text on the screen; misinterpretations are therefore nearly impossible. More details can be added to the results with an external keyboard (available separately), stored or directly printed via the Dräger Mobile Printer (available separately). Additional advantages of the Dräger DrugTest 5000: high degree of conformity with blood samples and the detection limits valid in Germany (confirmed by a field test by the German Police University) extremely low detection limit for THC as the main active ingredient of cannabis easy to use even with safety gloves operates via 230 V voltage or 12 V vehicle power supply easy to transport, weighs 4.5 kg (option available with carrying bag or a robust transport case) different configurations available (depending on model, several substances can be detected at the same time) can be used at temperatures between 4 °C and 40 °C can be stored in original package without any deterioration at up to 30 °C

We offer CPD Accredited Drug and Alcohol Testing Training courses which includes hands-on training for the Alpha Lab-in-a-Bag system. After training, your staff can be tasked with carrying out the entire screening procedure, assured that cross-contamination issues are either minimised or eliminated and whatever result obtained, there can be no dispute as to the readings found. Laboratory ConfirmationThe Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser is highly accurate and rarely would the results be challenged. In the event of a result being disputed by an employee, a follow-up laboratory confirmation test can be carried out. Our pre paid confirmation kit is ideal for this purpose; it comes complete with full chain-of-custody instructions and pre-paid laboratory testing envelope; just sample, seal and send. At just £99 for a kit containing a pair of duplicate testers it forms a very cost-effective means of obtaining laboratory-assured results. A box of 20 x Drager DrugTest 5000 Test Kit Cartridges (box of20) costs £595 + VAT and comes with a shelf life of 12 months.
