Alien Breed Impact is a remake of the cult production by Team17, released in the early 1990s for Amiga and then converted to PCs. It is an arcade shooter in which we annihilate hordes of representatives of a foreign race. The action is presented from a camera placed above the main character's head. Alien Breed Impact can only be purchased through digital distribution services. Story Just like in the original, also here we struggle through the base, which was once a thriving scientific and research facility. After the alien attack, however, there wasn't much left of her. Playing the role of the brave pilots of the PCC Miraculous spacecraft, we undertake the task of killing all enemies and then blowing up the center they have taken over. Gameplay The gameplay is dynamic and demanding, especially due to the running out of ammunition and the constant influx of new enemies. Killing them is tantamount to receiving money for which we can buy new, improved shotguns and rifles. The game includes both a single player mode and online cooperation. Alien Breed Impact was created on the basis of the Unreal Engine 3. The whole game takes place in closed locations, which, however, are prepared with attention to detail. The fun is extremely effective and dynamic, which is largely due to the good design of all maps. The Survivalists is an action adventure game with strategic and survival elements. In this production, we try to survive on a threatening, deserted island - and we can do it alone or in the company of a few friends. The title was developed and published by the well-known Team17 studio - industry veterans responsible, among others for such hits from the 90s as Alien Breed or Worms. The Survivalists takes place in the world known from the series The Escapists. Players take on the role of survivors who are stuck on a dangerous, desert island. In The Survivalists, we observe the action from above, from the so-called top-down perspective. The fun consists in exploring the two-dimensional game environment, collecting and creating items, hunting animals and mythical beasts, as well as performing various types of tasks - the latter come from a character called Mysterious Stranger or we find them on the seashore. It is worth noting that the locations are randomly generated, so the gameplay looks a bit different each time. On the island you can also find a wide variety of different places - incl. forests, mountains or dungeons. The crafting system plays an important role in Team17 - we can create both simple items (e.g. improvised weapons) and more advanced things (shelters, buildings). The monkeys that we find on the island can help us in work (but also in combat) - provided that we train them properly in advance. This solution adds a bit more strategic depth to the game. While playing, we can also explore ancient temples that can be found on the map. There are very valuable treasures waiting inside, but getting them will not be an easy task.
