The Danish designer Verner Panton(1926-1998) was a leading and significant part of the absolute heyday of Danish furniture design. Panton had close relationships with both Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Although Verner Panton was part of Danish furniture design's important mid-century, his expression and design philosophy were far from the simplicity practiced by his Danish and Scandinavian colleagues. His expression were provocative, playful, futuristic but also full of personality.
