Death Stranding is an action adventure game. The title was developed by the employees of Kojima Productions and was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The lead designer and screenwriter is the father of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima, for whom it was the first game developed after leaving Konami, where he spent over three decades of his career in the industry. The main character of Death Stranding was played by Norman Reedus, known for his role as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead series. The actor previously collaborated with Kojima on the canceled horror film Silent Hills.  Gameplay unlike any others Death Stranding is a third-person perspective action game, where the player controls their character in an open world environment. The protagonist, Sam, is a delivery man, transporting various cargo across the post-apocalyptic landscapes of the USA, earning money and reputation for his job as a delivery man. Delivering transports is an essential part of gameplay mechanics. The player has to consider several factors before making a run to his destination. For example, the weight and packaging of the cargo might influence Sam’s navigation of the area. After a successful run, Sam’s performance is evaluated and points awarded for the completion of the task can be spent on upgrading statistics, like the amount of weight the character can carry or the stability of the cargo.  By delivering cargo to various cities on the map, Sam expands the Chiral Network, which provides the means of contact across vast territories. Expanding the Chiral Network gives the player access to maps and blueprints, with which they can create useful structures, like bridges and generators. The Network is also the basis for the online functionality featured in DS.  The Network allows players to interact with each other within the game world. Fight. Die. Repeat. Death Stranding features intriguing fighting mechanics. The main enemies of the game are bandits of the MULE group and BTs – “beached things”, creatures visible only to some. These creatures cause the bodies of their victims to explode, creating “Voidouts”. Sam is a person known as “Repatriate”: upon death, he can return to life by swimming from the Beach – a place on the edge of life and death. The combat mechanics in DS are similar to those in other TPP games. The player has an arsenal of different types of weapons at their disposal, from handguns to a rocket launcher. A special weapon called Anti-BT gun can also be used. This non-lethal handgun draws blood from special packs and uses it as ammunition to paralyze the beached things. If Sam doesn’t have any blood packs left, the gun will draw blood from his body. The player can also use grenades and melee weapons. Story of a savior Death Stranding world was shaken by a series of explosions that brought about a series of supernatural phenomena known as "Death Stranding". Among the anomalies created in this way, we can distinguish rain with unusual properties. Everything that gets wet by the so-called Temporal fallout (Timefall) is displaced in time. This means an extreme acceleration of the aging process in all living organisms, including even plants. Another important element is the presence of beings invisible to the naked eye, known as Beached Things (BT). They pose a real threat to all inhabitants of the planet. To detect them, special equipment is required, a shoulder-mounted scanner called "odradek", which indicates their exact location. Phenomena caused humanity to split into small, scattered groups. The main character of Death Stranding is Sam Porter. It belongs to an organization called Bridges, which specializes in transporting goods between cities. Reception Death Stranding was received favorably by the critics. Reviewers praised the story of the game, the performances of actors portraying the characters – with special mentions of Reedus, Mikkelsen and Lea Seydoux, as well as the unsettling soundtrack of the game. Writing of the mechanics, critics noted the innovative mechanics and gameplay features, which separated DS from other games currently available on the market.  All in all, Hideo Kojima’s opus was considered a worthy piece in his artistic portfolio. The studio responsible for the game - Treyarch - has prepared several previous parts of the brand (Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War). The next installment of the series departs from both the first Call of Duty and the newer Modern Warfare climates, taking players to the Cold War era. Singleplayer The entire single-player campaign was presented in the form of an interrogation of Alex Mason, a well-trained commando for the CIA who is being held by unidentified persons. In the next stages, he returns to the missions in which Mason took part, controlling himself or other people from his squad. It is worth noting that Wiktor Reznow, one of the main characters of Call of Duty: World at War, plays an important role in the new game. In Black Ops, as in the previous parts of the series, you travel all over the world, visiting Vietnam and the Ural Mountains, among others. Black Ops is primarily a one-man campaign consisting of extremely spectacular missions that put players in extremely unusual situations. In one of the tasks, we pilot the Hind helicopter and eliminate enemy posts in the jungle, and in another we are on a Lockheed SR-71 scout plane, from which we support ground units (informing them about the enemy's positions). The missions are based on scripts, so they are linear, although on the other hand, they guarantee an amazing experience. In most of them, we focus only on shooting, although some of them also allow you to sneak and fight from hiding. Gameplay The gameplay itself has not changed significantly, although there are some new weapons in the game, more suited to the era and the realities of the Cold War. Players can shoot with a crossbow with an optical sight, for which several types of ammunition (including explosives) have been prepared. Among other new weapons there are also powerful Dragon's Breath missiles for shotguns. As usual, we meet a lot of opponents - this time they are a bit more intelligent. It is worth adding that the creators used a system of hits on various points of the body (a similar solution was used in World at War). Multiplayer An important element of the next installment of the popular shooter is, of course, the multiplayer mode, in which vehicles (known from World at War) reappear. The basis of the game is a system of perks (skills) and various weapons, which allows you to create your own class and unique soldier. Killstreaks (kills in a row) also return in the game, although they now have different rules (their number is carried over after the character dies). It is worth adding that in the PC version of the production, support for dedicated servers has been restored (it was missing in Modern Warfare 2).

So who is robbed, Carl knows about it, and in addition, he does not have to act alone, because he can recruit people to his gang. The possibility of joint car driving and walking tours of our gang enable fierce battles with competing gangs (e.g. the player drives a car while other passengers fire at the competition with machine guns). The atmosphere of the game itself is maintained in the atmosphere of the 90s, and the phenomenal graphics (realistic fog and light reflections on the car body and realistic shading) and music turn out to be nothing, compared to the novelties that were introduced to GTA: San Andreas compared to the previous part series. The biggest of them is probably the introduction of the hunger coefficient for our hero into the program. However, it does not end with providing yourself with food, the character we lead, e.g. through excessive eating, may gain weight. However, this is not the end of attractions, because you can lose unnecessary kilograms, e.g. by regular visits to the gym and an increased dose of sport. Another realignment of the game world is greater interaction with buildings located in cities. Break-ins and thefts to apartments turn out to be a very important element of the game, which we have to plan and carefully carry out. There is also a possibility of buying various premises that can earn for us. Among them there is a casino where we can spend some cash ourselves. Each city has a size comparable to the entire Vice City from the previous part of the GTA, so there is no shortage of various means of transport necessary to travel hundreds of virtual kilometers. Typical vehicles such as cars, motorbikes, motorboats, helicopters and airplanes have been joined by a kind and very useful bike. Carl Johnson himself, apart from running and driving, can shoot two pistols at the same time, and also, which is one of the biggest innovations in the front part - to swim.  Positive experiences related to visiting the cities of San Andreas are associated (not counting the phenomenal graphics) with the intelligence of their inhabitants, who react, for example, to our unethical behavior on the street, or call us fat when we overdo our eating. The creators of the program, as they themselves assure, in order to get into the atmosphere of each of the cities appearing in GTA: San Andreas, they personally visited them and transferred to the game the specific mental atmospheres observed there.
