The next installment of the popular Der Planer series , combining elements of simulation games and economic strategies. In the previous parts of the game, we dealt with, inter alia, managing a logistics company and own farm. This time, the ActaLogic / Rondomedia duo allows players to play the role of a real industrialist. Due to the negligible brand recognition outside the territory of native Germany, the game is distributed around the world under the name Industry Empire.
Gameplay
In the game, we have the opportunity to become "the boss of all bosses", developing our modest industrial empire to the rank of a world tycoon. Our duties include, among others conducting research and development, obtaining materials, producing various goods in the network of owned factories and distributing manufactured products. By sending more trucks with goods to nearby cities, we contribute not only to the development of our own business, but also to the development of the entire region - which is growing in the eyes, taking advantage of the good economic situation. Unlike the previous installments of the series, Industry Empire has almost completely abandoned the simulation elements, focusing on the purely economic aspect. Therefore, during the game, we will spend a lot of time browsing various tables and statistics that reflect the development of our business. The creators gave players the opportunity to produce over 160 different goods and supervise it - from the stage of extracting the necessary raw materials, through the entire production chain and distribution network. An additional attraction is the possibility of expanding a private residence and equipping it with newer, exclusive decorative and functional elements. The gameplay is also diversified by various scenarios, in which we are tasked with saving the region from bankruptcy or modernizing outdated structures.
