Story

The action takes place in four historical periods - shortly after Adolf Hitler came to power (1933), at the height of the Third Reich (1936), during the war (1940-1941) and the fall (1944-1945) . It is worth noting that the player's actions can influence the course of events and change the story.
Gameplay
Through the Darkest of Times is a turn-based strategy that takes place in four historical periods constituting separate chapters. The action begins in 1933 - shortly after Adolf Hitler became chancellor, and then goes through the peak of the Third Reich (1936) and the hottest years of the Second World War (1940-1941). The final chapter is the end of the war and the fall of Nazi Germany in 1944-1945. The player's task is to recruit followers and assign them to actions aimed at weakening and, over time, overthrowing the regime. To be successful, we are forced to make many difficult decisions. It is also necessary to care for the group's morale and the financial and resources necessary for its functioning and avoiding the sight of the Gestapo secret police. Importantly, many elements of the game - such as the characters, abilities and views of our henchmen - are random in nature and can look completely different every time we start the game all over again.
