Road Redemption is a brutal racing game designed as the spiritual heir to the Road Rash series. The production was developed by DarkSeas Games studio.
In the campaign, we play the role of a criminal who leaves the prison after eight years of imprisonment and has to rebuild his former position in the motorcycle gang from scratch. As the plot develops, it quickly turns out that some of our former colleagues are acting to the detriment of the organization and may even be responsible for sending our hero behind bars. The player's decisions and actions will shape the course of the story and ultimately lead the story to one of several alternative endings.
The game offers a great variety of challenges. One of them are the so-called combat races in which we fight with other gangs for territories and routes for transporting drugs. When we weaken the enemy group properly, we will also take part in the hunt for its leader. Another type of mission is escaping the police chase, another time we will try to rob a convoy of powerful trucks, while during ambushes we have to kill as many enemies as possible before they reach their destination point. The last type of tasks are escapes from cities controlled by enemy gangs.
Among the available weapons, we can find, among others various types of firearms, chains, sticks, machetes, samurai swords, axes, Molotov cocktails and grenades. We use all of this both in the campaign and in multiplayer games. There are several different modes available for multiplayer matches, some of which are based on the reworked rules of single player missions.
