When we start playing, we create a civilization by combining elements taken from 60 real cultures from different periods - from the Bronze Age to the present day.  The gameplay takes place in a turn-based system, and the player's goal is to gain great fame, which we build by making important decisions, winning battles and doing other great deeds. While playing, we meet many famous historical figures and have to face the events that took place in the past. We also have to take care of the economy, establish diplomatic and trade relations, and develop the technological level of our subordinates. In addition to managing our civilization, we spend a lot of time fighting, which also takes place in turns.  The authors have prepared a tactically developed battle system, taking into account e.g. topography and map objects. This approach also affects the strategic layer, as it is necessary, for example, to design cities so that they are easier to defend against attacks by enemy armies.

By clicking on an allied unit, we move to the battlefield and take control of the hero. The game takes place in a turn-based system called BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zones), in which we have a limited number of action points to use, allocated to the movement of characters, crouching, hiding behind covers and, of course, shooting at enemies. After using all the points, artificial intelligence takes control of your soldiers, and we patiently wait for the next turn. Each of the heroes has different weapons that can be used in different situations. Alicja uses a mid-range shotgun and Welkin specializes in tank servicing. In addition, during the mission, we receive support from other soldiers and combat machines, but their number is limited to ten units, selected from the pool of available allies before starting the task. Choosing the right crew has a significant impact on the combat, as some soldiers can cover several allied objects with a special shield, while others use sniper rifles.
