The Swedish studio Paradox Development, known for its complex historical strategy games, is responsible for the production. The company based in Stockholm has produced and published, among others the Europa Universalis series or the Crusader Kings series referring to it in many respects, and the Hearts of Iron series. The latest part runs on the same new engine as Europa Universalis IV and has a refreshed, more readable user interface.   Lead any Nation To Victory In Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition, players can lead both a country actively involved in World War II (e.g. Great Britain or France), and from the outskirts of those times, e.g. from South America. The creators decided to place the accents in the matter of military management slightly different than in the previous parts. The command structure was simplified, leaving only divisions and armies, as well as an organizational unit called the theater of operations. Instead, new tactical planning opportunities have emerged, such as drawing the front lines and determining the directions of the attack, and then the automatic execution of these orders by our generals.
