Rise of the Owlverlord expands the base game with 7 new levels, another boss, an instructional level and a completely new story. The graphic design has remained the same in terms of style, but in terms of music, we get completely new pieces by Chris Hülsbeck and the Machinae Supremacy band. In Rogue Stormers, the key element is the so-called Arc Connector, which consists of an indestructible, hanging generator that powers players' armor. Thanks to it, characters can increase the effectiveness of their weapons or absorb enemy orbs, and then transform them into energy, causing area damage and stunning a large group of enemies. It also plays a vital role in organizing cooperation between players, allowing them to reinforce each other's attacks. The missions themselves have a more interesting structure than the typical " go to A and kill everything that moves ". Instead, we receive specific tasks, such as sabotaging, freeing a prisoner or performing a murder on a specific opponent. In addition, our successes or failures dynamically affect the situation in the entire city and the shape of subsequent missions.
