It is not hard to guess that the world is threatened by a great cataclysm and that no one else but the player must prevent it. His task is to find the rightful heir to the throne and bring him to rule over Tamriel. Gameplay and characters The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY is characterized by a very large freedom in making decisions. Speech incl. about creating the character of our hero, traveling around the game world, completing thousands of side quests, or the main mission itself. We can become both a powerful warrior, magician, sorcerer, healer or thief. Nothing prevents you from belonging to different guilds or factions at the same time and from advancing in their ranks. What we do, our decisions and actions affect both the character we run and the environment. The game world is inhabited by nearly 1,000 NPC characters who make independent choices based on their personality, place where they are and remembered effects of previous interactions with other people. And all this is thanks to a special artificial intelligence system "Radiant".   For example Mehrunes Dagon. Enemy of every living race in the Oblivion. He believes that he is in fact the true ruler of the entire world. And he tries to prove it to everyone. Then, there is Azura. One of Daedic princes, who rules over the sphere of transition. The only Daedric lord, who somehow can be considered a decent person. Then, you are going to meet probably the most annoying character in the history of video games. The character progression system is similar to the one from Morrowind.  Your skills are rising when you do certain things. However the combat system is much more complex and interesting, especially within the context of magic. User interface was also changed. Now it is much easier to navigate through items. In general you are going to notice development in most aspects of the game. 2K Games focused on the development of a complex and polished game and you can see that. Not without a reason, Oblivion is considered as one of the best RPG games, ever created. Story and the plot The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY  story starts six years after the events of Morrowind. The emperor Uriel Septim VII was killed by assassins. However, before he died he handed the amulet of kings to the most random person in Tamriel. A simple prisoner. The amulet is a really powerful artifact and Septim (played by Patrick Stewart) asks the prisoner to shut down the jaws of Oblivion. The prisoner is you and with this cryptic information from the emperor, you start your adventure. Similar to Morrowind you are not provided with a direction, where you should go. It is entirely up to you what you are going to do.  You can focus on your main quest or not give a damn about it at all. You can become a mage, thief or anyone you wish or want. In general, you can spend dozens of hours in Oblivion and not touch the main story at all. The side quests by themselves might provide you with so much fun, that you won't even think about the main storyline of the game itself. This is where a new alternate reality was created using the hero's daughter. In order to regain it, Sebastian must leave the real world and go on a journey to a nightmarish dimension, constructed by the Mobius group. Gameplay The Evil Within 2 focuses on exploration, survival and resource management. Depending on the difficulty you choose, your resources may be very limited, each bullet counts. Play very carefully and try not facing grotesque zombies. The game features three difficulty modes. Casual mode is recommended by producer Shinji Mikami. Survival and Nightmare are perfect scenarios for players who enjoy the difficulty curve in the previous game.  The Evil Within 2 features maps that are semi-open and large. Feel free to explore the entire area of each map. Complete numerous side missions and find valuable resources. Rage is not an ordinary traditional representative of the first-person shooter genre, although it is undoubtedly its most important element. The game is a mix of a typical id Software shooter with car racing on an asteroid ruined by the impact of the Earth. As in the movie with Mel Gibson in the lead role, the main means of transport and the most important good in Rage is a properly modified vehicle, adapted to overcome treacherous wilderness. Gameplay The main character of the game, described by the creators themselves as an individual of the class of Buck Rogers (a hero from the pages of American comics), comes from the Ark - one of the special shelters that allowed carefully selected Earthlings to survive the cataclysm. Forced to go outside, he quickly fraternizes with the survivors of the pogrom trying to survive in a new dangerous reality. Dishonored 2 is a continuation of the best-selling stealth and FPP game released in 2012. As before, the gameplay is set in a fictional world inspired by the period of the industrial revolution, in which elements of magic and steampunk were combined with the industrial aesthetics of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The version for the PC, PS4 and XONE platform is again the result of cooperation between the French studio Arkane (also known for the action game Dark Messiah of Might & Magic released in 2006) with the publisher of Bethesda Softworks - the owner of such brands as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Dishonored 2 takes place 15 years after the events of the first installment of the series. Corvo Attano returns as the main character, but is also joined by Emily Kaldwin, the rightful heir to the imperial throne and privately daughter of Attano. The story no longer takes place only in Dunwall, the capital of the island Empire ruled by the Caldwin family, known from its predecessor, but in the warm south, in the city of Karnak, the seat of the Duke of Serkonos Island. The protagonists end up there, forced to flee far from Dunwall after Emily is deceitfully crowned by the witch Delila (known from the two Dishonored DLCs). Having reached Karnaka, the heroes begin to work out a network of conspirators and look for a way to restore the throne of the young empress. In the prologue, we have to choose whether we want to start the game as a young ruler or whether we want to jump back into the shoes of the protagonist from the first Dishonored - Corvo Attano. Although the story is roughly the same for both characters (the discrepancies are really small), the decision is so important that it cannot be changed - the other hero is imprisoned in Dunwall, and you can play him only on the next approach to the campaign . Each character plays a bit differently due to a different set of available magical powers and other dialogue issues (this time Corvo received a voice actor, Stephen Russell, known mainly as Garrett from the older parts of the Thief series). The formula of the game itself has not changed significantly compared to the previous installment of the series. In Dishonored 2 for PC, PS4 and XONE, the fun still comes down to completing new missions, the structure of which is somewhat reminiscent of the games from the aforementioned Thief series. Fallout 3: Point Lookout is the fourth DLC to the third installment of Fallout 3, a very well-known RPG about the post-apocalyptic world. The title was developed by Bethesda Softworks studio, responsible, among others, for the The Elder Scrolls series. Before Point Lookout, fans of the game received the following expansions: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel. Point Lookout is, above all, a huge new area to visit. This time, the authors presented us with a rather unusual scenery of dark swamps lying on the shores of Maryland. To get there, you just need to buy a ticket for the ferry, which appears in the standard wastelands from Fallout 3. The add-on is not only new places, but also quests and characters. When creating the whole, the authors were allegedly inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, so there are also themes known from horror movies. The expansion features a new town and an interesting storyline to unravel. We learn, among other things, the secret of the destroyed promenade, the secrets of the swamps inhabited by monsters, the history of the dark mansion besieged by hordes of enemies and the purpose of the mysterious Punga Fruit item. Point Lookout focuses primarily on exploring and searching for secrets in a new environment, offering dozens of different locations to visit. For the fourth DLC for Fallout 3, the creators have prepared several new weapons, such as a shotgun and microwave emitter, as well as unprecedented, even more dangerous opponents (including mutated natives). An additional attraction is a bonus set of perks and achievements, which of course diversify the fun. It is also worth paying attention to the high level of visual setting, kept in extremely dark colors.
