Back to Bed is an original puzzle game developed by the independent studio Bedtime Gaming as a continuation of the student project from 2011. The action takes place in a surreal world of dreams, and its protagonist is a man named Bob suffering from narcolepsy. Story The action of the game takes place in surreal dream worlds. A man named Bob, who suffered from narcolepsy, travels inertly through it. For this reason, he falls deeply asleep every now and then and, as a sleepwalker, remains unaware of the dangers lurking at every step. We play the role of a part of his subconsciousness responsible for the self-preservation instinct, which took the form of a guard named Subob . Gameplay Our task is to guide Subob in such a way as to bring Bob safely to the end point in the form of a bed on each board. We have no direct influence on the movements of the human being protected by us. Instead, we have to manipulate the environment and thus indirectly influence the movement of the unfortunate sleepwalker. For example, when encountering any obstacle, Bob always turns 90 degrees clockwise. This allows us to shape the route of his march by moving items. The fun is diversified by the fact that the action takes place in the world of dreams, where traditional rules of physics do not apply. The result is that the levels are full of deadly traps, gravity-altering stairs, and structures that couldn't really exist. In addition, each map is in the form of footbridges suspended in the air, and one false step can lead Bob to fall into the abyss.

The Tormentor A sadistic and merciless executioner, Pyramid Head is fixated on inflicting punishment through pain. Wherever he stepped, even the monsters fled into the shadows, and those who crossed his path fell victim to unbridled acts of aggression. When he had done his duty and his presence was no longer needed, he prepared for a long rest - yet his skills were needed elsewhere. The fog that spread over him was somehow different from what he was used to in Silent Hill, as if every strand of it contained the nerves of a being, writhing and searching for him. Survivors who walk or run along the path will activate Killer Instinct and be affected by Torment. Survivors affected by Torment can be sent to the Cage of Reconciliation by the Tormentor while in a dying state. The Tormentor has 3 new perks Forced Penance Those who interfere with their duties will be judged harshly. Survivors who take a protective hit receive a Broken status effect for 40/50/60 seconds. Path of Anguish You lead your victims down a path of pain and punishment. After kicking the generator, you become undetectable for 16/16/16 seconds. During this time, the generator's yellow aura is visible to Survivors. This effect can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds. Deathbound Those whose lives are entwined in darkness are doomed to suffer together. When a Survivor heals another Survivor to one health at least 32/32/32 meters away from the Assassin, the Survivor performing the healing action screams, revealing their location and activating Deathbound for the next 60/60/60 seconds. During this time, the Survivor will suffer an Oblivious status effect if they are further than 16/12/8 meters from the healed Survivor. Cheryl Mason The caring and impulsive Cheryl Mason, formerly known as Heather, was trying to rebuild her life after the tragic death of her adoptive father, Harry Mason. Although freed from the religious cult that had pursued her since birth, she was bound by guilt over her father's death. The darkness punished her every night in the form of hideous nightmares. To ease her conscience, she volunteered at a crisis intervention center for troubled youth. Three months later, she received training and was able to take unsupervised phone calls. However, little could have prepared her for her first phone call. All she heard was a noise. The air thickened and black vapors rose from the ground, and suddenly she heard a woman's voice - someone she thought she would never hear again. Why do you cling to this broken world? You know that only God can save us. It couldn't be her - Klaudia was dead. Suddenly the world whirled and she fell to her knees nauseated. Hot bile rose to her throat and she vomited warm blood onto the floor. Then the spinning stopped as quickly as it had started. Cheryl looked up and saw that she was somewhere else. During this time, the Survivor will suffer an Oblivious status effect if they are further than 16/12/8 meters from the healed Survivor.
