SCHUBERTH C5, Casque moto modulable, White

SCHUBERTH C5, Casque moto modulable, White

GIVI X.27 Tourer Graphic, Casque moto modulable, Blanc-Bleu-Rouge

GIVI X.27 Tourer Graphic, Casque moto modulable, Blanc-Bleu-Rouge

X.27 Tourer Graphic Blanc-Bleu-Rouge This helmet comes standard with a clear visor. Tinted and mirrored visors are available as an option. The GIVI X.27 Tourer is a dual homologation motorcycle helmet that merges the best qualities of the jet helmet with the best ones of the modular helmet. With the most recent ECE 22.06 certification and a Pinlock 70 lens included in the box, this X.27 Tourer is also interestingly priced. And yes, the X.27 Tourer is only one modular motorcycle helmet from the X.27 family. The family tree from the X.27 Tourer goes all the way back to the X.20 and X.21, preceded by the X.16 Voyager; hence, this is not GIVI’s first rodeo. In this touring-oriented version, the result is a decent total solution with a double helmet shell in thermoplastic. These two helmet shells contain all helmet sizes, warranting that the weight of this modular helmet stays well around 1,690 grams; which isn’t light as a feather but it’s a pretty decent result for a motorcycle helmet with almost everything on board. The double P/J homologation means that you get to ride it when it’s in the flipped-up position as well. One condition is that the GIVI X.27 Tourer can be locked into that open position, which you can do by using the red slider right below the left hinge. Don’t confuse it with the slider in the other direction a little lower that flips the sun visor up and down. To complete the picture, we’ll also mention the quick release loops to the left and right to detach or replace the transparent visor. Without tools and far less complicated than we can ever describe it. It all points itself out. By the way, you operate the chin guard by using the central locking in the front. The fact that only the safety slider is brightly coloured doesn’t negatively affect the ease of use at all. If you stay focused, everything will be alright. De X.27 comes standard with a transparent and scratch-resistant visor which you can use to attach the supplied Pinlock 70 lens to. The chin and top ventilation slides open and shut. Wind that comes in that way through the front flows out the back through the outlets underneath the spoiler. In-between that is your freshly cooled head, which is always a good thing when riding. The X.27 Tourer distinguishes itself from its cousins and uncles with its sun peak. This gives this modular helmet a dual sport appearance, a more adventurous look and is a perfect fit for adventure bikes this motorcycle helmet likes to be associated with. The micrometric closure is adjustable in length, which allows the X.27 Tourer to perfectly stay in place. The soft chin strap enhances its wearing comfort. The neck rim, supplemented with an additional chin rim, increases sound insulation and reduces the chances of a whiplash or excessive wind noise. The well-fitting lining – easily removed and washable – of this motorcycle helmet is made to size and hypoallergenic. The wind curtain chin is, just like the breath deflector, a comfort-increasing addition that can be removed should you want to. No kit of reflective stickers is included in the box. The application of these stickers is mandatory in France. Reflective helmet stickers can be found here. Some maintenance tips: The helmet interior can also be cleaned without removing it, with S100 interior cleaner. The exterior of the helmet is best cleaned with S100 helmet and visor cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X water-repellent spray. Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from street lights and oncoming headlights. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a worn visor as soon as possible. Planning a long trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
